Whistleblower system

Compliance with legal regulations, internal rules and the Code of Conduct is a top priority at HAKRO. We can only protect our company, our employees and our business partners if we act in accordance with the law and with integrity. In order to fulfil this requirement, it is important to learn of possible misconduct by employees and to prevent it. In HAKRO's whistleblower system, incoming reports are processed independently and confidentially.

Making a correct report.
It requires the attention and willingness of everyone to report specific information about breaches of rules by HAKRO employees. These can be reported confidentially to the whistleblower system at any time. This includes, for example, breaches of the Code of Conduct, corruption, theft, discrimination, data misuse or bullying. In addition to employees, business partners or other third parties can also report specific information on breaches of rules. It is important that the report is formulated as specifically as possible. It is helpful if you consider the five W questions when making a report:

Who? Who is involved? Who is affected?
What?  What has happened? Describe the facts of the case.
When? When was the incident?
How? How often did it happen?
Where? Where did the incident take place?

Guaranteed protection for all parties involved.
HAKRO offers the possibility of anonymous reporting and communication. Furthermore, HAKRO does not tolerate any discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at HAKRO. An investigation will only be initiated after careful examination of the report and if there are concrete indications of a breach of the rules. The information will be processed as part of a fair and confidential process. Discrimination, intimidation or hostility resulting from a report to the HAKRO whistleblower system will be investigated and penalised in accordance with the same process. The persons concerned are presumed innocent until the offence is proven. Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality.
