Workshop, surgery, office or outdoor? At work, the choice of material is determined by where and how it is to be used. At the same time, the quality of the material also determines the quality and durability of the garment. That is why we only use first-class cotton, fine Merino wool and high-performance functional fibres such as COOLMAX®, TRIACTIVE and our strong mix Mikralinar®.

SELECTED NATURAL FIBRES

The rule with cotton is the longer the fibres, the more exclusive the fabric. That is why we only use long-staple qualities with a minimum fibre length of 30 mm, and 36 mm for Pima cotton. We are also extremely picky when it comes to Merino wool. We look out for fine, soft qualities for an even stitch structure and a high level of wear comfort. Our pullovers and cardigans can even be machine washed at 30 degrees.

INNOVATIVE FUNCTIONAL FIBRES

Whether heat, cold, wind or wet, functional fibres can cope with any type of weather and ensure the wearer has a high level of wear comfort. The classics are breathable materials that transport moisture away from the body. Windproof fibres offer reliable protection against the cold by screening the body and preventing it from cooling down quickly. And for perfect cosiness, choose a garment with a heat-insulating fleece or membrane.

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: MIKRALINAR®

MIKRALINAR® combines the strengths of an innovative high-performance polyester with those of cotton, and offers brilliant moisture management. It contains cotton that absorbs moisture, while polyester makes sure that it is quickly transported away from the body. MIKRALINAR® has excellent wear properties, is extremely hard-wearing and very long-lasting. It is abrasion-resistant, tear-proof, low pilling and easy to look after. We have developed a whole collection line of high-performance textiles from this versatile material. HAKRO Performance: clothing that can take a lot and yet keeps its shape.

ALSO KIND TO THE SKIN

"Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®" certification guarantees that HAKRO textiles do not contain any legally banned or harmful chemicals. The safety of tested constituents is especially important in workwear, which spends many hours of every day in contact with the skin.
